Opened in 2010, Honghu Yuexi Peninsula International Hot Spring Resort is located in Wulin Town, about a two-hour drive from downtown Wuhan. The resort has a hotel, a hot spring center and a vanilla base, integrating three major functions: accommodation, leisure and viewing.

The hot spring center has a total of 68 outdoor hot spring pools, and the hot spring water is a metasilicic hot spring with a water temperature of up to 76°C. Hot spring pools are divided into Toyo hot spring pools, Chinese hot spring pools (i.e., medicine pools), couple's hot spring pools, and women's hot spring pools. Different hot spring pools have their own characteristics, such as the Oriental hot spring pool, which imitates Japanese hot springs, with four wooden hot spring houses, cherry blossom bathing pools, and hot and cold hot springs; Chinese hot spring pools are added with various kinds of plant "medicinal herbs"; The couple's hot spring pool is located in the center of the outdoor hot spring area, the pool is high in the west and low in the east, and the recess in the water is designed according to the shape of the human body, and the lying position is very relaxing.

The hot spring center has an indoor hot spring pavilion called "Water Cube", which is built by the original team of "Water Cube" in Beijing. The hot spring pavilion is a huge glass hemisphere and has become a landmark building in Honghu City. The indoor hot spring hall is equipped with hot spring pools, wave pools, and water parks, and its water quality is average, and it is obvious that the external strength has not been extended to the actual effect. The resort also offers some paid items, such as essential oil aromatherapy, massage, Thai SPA, etc., which are also not good and are not recommended to try.

The hotel has a total of 261 guest rooms, and there are various types of rooms such as starlight rooms, pool view rooms, and tree houses according to the theme. The room is well equipped, but slightly dated. Relaxation is one of the most important functions of a spa hotel, but there are not many entertainment facilities on the Yuexi Peninsula, but the vanilla base, which is not far from the spa center, is worth a visit, which is the largest in central China, and the lavender blooms from June to August, which is great for photos.
