Located on the 41st floor of Hilton Hotel Apartments, Panofusion is one of the highest western restaurants in Wuhan. The restaurant has a floor-to-ceiling glass window overlooking the Wuchang skyline and the Yangtze River, taking in the magnificent views of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and the Parrot Island Yangtze River Bridge. At the beginning of the day, the two bridges are full of traffic, and the Yellow Crane Tower in the distance is brilliant and shining, and the atmosphere is romantic, which is very suitable for friends gatherings or couples dating.
Compared with the previous restaurants, the grade of ingredients in the Panofusion domain is relatively ordinary, such as the New Zealand Angus beef used in the main course steak, even the tender filet part is much tougher than the Australian Wagyu beef and American Angus steak. The steak is of mediocre quality, and meat-loving diners should look to duck breast with berry jam. The fat and lean duck breast has a crispy skin and is shiny when served, and the chef pours it in pear pulp for a refreshing taste.
The Spanish Ham with Spa Eggs breaks with the traditional method of using cantaloupe or strawberry with ham, and instead uses finger orange to enhance the taste sensation. Oranges are native to Australia and are also known as "caviar in fruits" because their flesh is contained in small caviar-sized seeds. The fresh finger orange used in Panofusion is evenly grained, and the strong sour taste begins to invade the mouth after biting the small seeds, which can not only mask the slight fishiness of the hot spring eggs, but also be very beneficial for appetizing before meals. The pre-dinner bread and dessert were disappointing, the bread was served not fully baked inside, several desserts were decorated with chocolate sauce only, the presentation was boring, and the quality of the cakes and cream was not even as good as that of the average dessert shop.
The overall area of Panofusion is not large, more like a private restaurant in an apartment. The restaurant is a little shabby, and the fake flowers on the table look quite cheap. Fortunately, the service is considerate, from reservation to dining the whole process is warm and courteous, each dish will be briefly explained when serving, if it is a birthday, date and other special circumstances, the store will generally provide a free table decoration when booking in advance. As a reminder, the restaurant is located in a rented apartment next to the Hilton, not in the hotel, so diners should not go wrong.
