Tom's club - Institutional Review

Tom's club is more like a club, as the name suggests. Founded in 2012, the club has grown from the simplest English corner to now three English clubs. Tom's club advertises itself as less of a pure training institution and more of a club for English lovers.

Tom's club offers beginner, intermediate and advanced courses, each with a slightly different curriculum. In addition to the ordinary small class classes and English corner, there are also pronunciation classes, speech classes, acting classes, and authentic English expression classes. The small class duration is 2 hours, and the course is mainly based on thematic teaching, and each class will set a different teaching theme, and will teach vocabulary and common sentence patterns around this theme. Each level will also be arranged with exciting activities, such as English werewolf killing, dumpling with Lao Lao, badminton, cocktail party, hiking outdoors, etc. Tom's club foreign teachers are all from pure English-speaking countries, with more than 3 years of experience, some of them can switch between Chinese and English freely, have a deeper understanding of students' language needs, and are good at conducting activities with students. Course fees are calculated on a per-lesson basis, and are charged separately for different course types, including the English Corner.

Tom's club is characterized by practicality, each theme is closely related to life, the teacher and the student are more like friends, and the extracurricular activities also enhance the communication between the student and the teacher. In addition, speech classes and acting classes can also learn the pronunciation, intonation, and voice expression of different English contexts for advanced students. However, this approach is not very suitable for the lower level of learning, and the thematic teaching method, although practical, does not systematically consolidate the language.
