Yuexiu District Little Skylark Art Kindergarten, formerly known as a full-time kindergarten sponsored by the Children's Palace of Dongshan District, was established in September 1999 and later changed to a private kindergarten, and is now located in the Golden Sheep Garden on Zhongshan 1st Road, Yuexiu District.
In 2017, Little Skylark Art Kindergarten renovated some of its classrooms, with relatively new hardware and software facilities, and an outdoor playground for multiple classes to work together, and the playground is made of plastic. There aren't too many outdoor play machines, but there's a separate water play area for kids to swim in. Little Skylark is more prominent in art education, and has rich experience in the cultivation of dance, performance, music, jazz drums, etc., and will also hold debriefing performances in various festivals, or take children to participate in art programs in the city.
In addition to the regular Nursery, Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes, Little Skylark Art Kindergarten also has Nursery and International Classes. The international class was established separately in 2017, focusing on immersion English education according to the configuration standards of one foreign teacher, one Chinese teacher, and one childcare. However, the foreign teachers of the international class are not hired by Little Skylark alone, but are jointly established with external English training institutions, and foreign teachers are provided by the training institutions. There will be two art elective classes per week, including Walking, Violin, Electronic Organ, Art, Language Arts, Singing, Martial Arts, and Jazz Drumming.
The cost of the little lark is prohibitive for parents. As a private kindergarten, Little Skylark will charge about 10,000 yuan in sponsorship fees every year, about 2,900 yuan in monthly nursery fees plus food, and 700-1,500 yuan per semester for interest classes. Under the premise of high cost, children can indeed be exercised in a variety of performances, but this kind of kindergarten teachers are highly mobile and the business atmosphere is relatively heavy, which requires more consultation and trade-off from parents.
