Wuling Rongguang is a model launched by SAIC-GM-Wuling in 2008. In 2013, SAIC-GM-Wuling launched the facelifted Wuling Rongguang S on the basis of Wuling Rongguang. Later, the Wuling Rongguang V was adjusted for some configurations, increased the maximum load capacity, equipped with dual evaporator air conditioning to improve the comfort of the rear row, automatic driving lock, door failure alarm and other configurations were also added. Therefore, Wuling Rongguang is also a model of two generations in the same house.
 
The Wuling Rongguang is equipped with 1.2 and 1.5 displacement engines, and is also mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-displacement engine with intake valve timing technology has also appeared on the Baojun 730 and Buick Excelle, which has played a certain role in reducing fuel consumption and improving power. The engine is installed under the front seats, and the engine can be seen when you open the seat cushion, so it is difficult for Wuling Rongguang to do a good job of shock filtering and noise reduction. Glory's power steering makes it easy to turn the direction when cruising, but when slowing or reversing, the steering power plays a very weak role, and turning the steering wheel is still a manual task.
 
In the interior space, the biggest difference between the center console of Wuling Rongguang and the past is the use of soft imitation leather materials, and the style of the dashboard is similar to that of Baojun. The seat filling of Rongguang is also relatively thick, and the comfort is a notch higher than that of Wuling Light. In addition, the third and second rows of the Glory have a similar amount of space, so they don't feel too cramped when fully loaded. Wuling Rongguang's performance in terms of quality is very general, from the user feedback, braking failure is also the most urgent problem to be solved by Rongguang, the door is not tightly closed, oil lamp flashing and other faults are also common, people do not have too high expectations for the reliability of this "van", its "repairable anywhere" characteristics can help users reduce a lot of trouble.
 
It's difficult to accurately measure the passive safety capabilities of micro-faceted models, and the vast majority of such models do not have ABS and airbags. Rongguang S's anti-lock braking (ABS) and braking force distribution (EBD) systems are optional, and Rongguang V is even only available as an option for the top version, and in an emergency, you must come up with the old driver's "point brake" stunt.
