The Audi S8 is a luxury executive sedan designed based on Audi's flagship sedan, the Audi A8. For a long time, the image of the Audi S8 in the luxury camp has been relatively bleak due to the more eye-catching appearance of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the better driving pleasure of the BMW 7 Series.
 
Like the Audi "S" and "RS" models, the S8 is the powerhouse of Audi sedans. The new-generation Audi A8 and next-generation A6 share the MLB Evo platform.
