The powertrain is JLR's 2.0T Ingenium engine, which is available in a 250 hp high-power version and a 200 hp low-power version, mated to a ZF 8HP45 8-speed automatic transmission. The materials used in the interior are in line with the performance of this level, the style is sporty, there is not much luxury, the main problem is the workmanship, after the domestic production, Chery's workmanship is difficult to be satisfied, many places lack a sense of refinement, and even in some seams there is still a little rough. The difficulty of getting started with multimedia is very low, but the response of this touch screen is average, which leads to more attention to the operation while driving, and it cannot be operated in other ways, which is not too convenient.
The standard axle version of the XE basically has no rear space at all, but after the wheelbase is lengthened by 100mm, the rear space of the XE L is quite abundant, which is also one of the few advantages of the long axle version, even so, its rear space has no bright spots in its class, plus the central towering platform, it is only suitable for four people.
