Trend Micro in China
In July 2001, Trend Micro officially entered the Chinese market and set up branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other places, with the purpose of "serving the needs of users with innovation", providing high-quality products and services for users in various industries in China. To date, Trend Micro has nearly 300 employees in Chinese mainland, including more than 100 in its R&D center in Nanjing, and the number is increasing rapidly.

In March 2005, Trend Micro Network (China) Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Trend Micro (China) Co., Ltd. At the same time, Trend Micro has also made a presence in key cities and regions, with Beijing, Nanjing and Guangzhou upgrading from the original offices to Beijing, Nanjing and Guangzhou branches.
