Zhejiang Construction Investment Group is a state-owned enterprise established earlier in Zhejiang and a large construction enterprise group in Zhejiang. Formerly known as Zhejiang Construction Company, it was established on July 11, 1949, and has undergone 15 changes such as Zhejiang Provincial Urban Construction Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Construction Engineering Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Construction Industry, Zhejiang Provincial Capital Construction Bureau, Zhejiang Construction Engineering Corporation, etc., and was reorganized into Zhejiang Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. on March 28, 2016.
After 68 years of development, the group has developed into a large-scale enterprise group with a complete industrial chain, complete professional categories and good market access conditions. Now it has 94 qualifications in 35 categories of various enterprises, including 4 special qualifications for general contracting of construction projects, 8 Grade A design qualifications, of which 45 are in 19 categories with the highest qualifications in the industry. In the fifties, it undertook the construction of most of Zhejiang's old industrial enterprises and urban and rural infrastructure such as Hangzhou Iron and Steel, Quhua and Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd.; In the sixties and seventies, it undertook the task of foreign aid construction in our province, including Kuwait, North Korea, Guinea and Sierra Leone, a total of 31 economic aid projects.
