Interface brand introduction

Interface logo

Founded in 1973 in the United States, it is the world's largest manufacturer of modular carpets, and enjoys a high reputation for its creativity and courage to break through

Interfacex is the world's largest designer and manufacturer of modular carpets, with a reputation for creativity and innovation.

In 1973, Mr. Ray Anderson saw the huge market potential of modular carpets and founded Interface. From a small workshop to a large enterprise with global management, the vision and dream of the future are the eternal rules of the game that accompany the company's growth, and will not be short-lived.Interface's interpretation of design is a harmonious interaction between rational thinking and the perceptual aesthetics of product design that runs through all levels of the company's operation. Through our understanding of the difference in design, we help our clients create the ideal interior space and realize their design vision.

Environmental protection is the life of Interface. In 1994, Interface began to change the company's business model and try to push the industry towards sustainability. We firmly believe that avant-garde design, once the undisputed king, for ourselves and the industry as a whole, has now taken a back seat to environmental protection and sustainability.

In 2007, Interface became the first carpet manufacturer to successfully "completely separate" the carpet yarn from the backing, achieving the largest amount of aftermarket material recycling and reproduction with minimal contamination. The process, called ReEntry™, recycles old carpet and converts it into a new vinyl and nylon blend, avoiding landfills. In fact, since 1994, Interface has successfully recycled 120 million kilograms of used carpet worldwide to keep it out of landfills. The recycling process is simpler than expected, and all carpets that enter the ReEntry™ project are transported to a recycling center. Together with our partners in China, we were able to quickly and efficiently separate the carpet yarn from the backing and then use the recycled nylon fibers into the new nylon fibers to make the new backing. Plastic ingredients that are not suitable for use in the production of Interface's products will be supplied to other industries so that they can be reused in their logistics processes.

Innovation is at the heart of Interface's business. We believe that innovative thinking in our products and processes will help us realize our vision of becoming a sustainable company by 2020 and ultimately a resilient company. We have pledged to move every creative, manufacturing, and construction decision we make toward a zero environmental footprint.
