ANZ Banking Group, a Fortune 500 company, was founded in 1835 and provides customers with traditional customer banking services and comprehensive financial solutions

ANZ Bank is one of the four largest banks in Australia, founded in 1835 and ranked in the top 50 globally. The bank's history dates back 150 years, with its headquarters in Melbourne, and its first office opened in the nineteen-thirties as the Bank of Australia. ANZ Bank is a public company established in Victoria, Australia and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange Limited. It is authorised to carry on banking business in Australia under the Banking Act (Cth) (1959) and is regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.

ANZ has been committed to developing the Chinese market since it entered China in 1986. At present, ANZ Bank has opened six branches and four sub-branches in China, and has established a back-office operation center in Chengdu. Over the past 20 years, ANZ Bank has been one of Australia's largest investors in China, and has been continuously exploring the Chinese market, and has successfully established strategic partnerships with Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank and Bank of Tianjin.

In 2010, ANZ Bank was the first Australian bank to successfully transform into a locally incorporated bank in China, Australia and New Zealand Bank (China) Limited ("ANZ China"). In 2011, the Chengdu operation center was put into operation to support ANZ's global business development.

As the only Australian bank approved to provide a full range of RMB and foreign currency services to individual and corporate clients in China, ANZ China is better positioned to meet the growing financial services needs of its customers and provide them with strong support for their overseas expansion.

While constantly evolving, ANZ China also attaches great importance to its corporate social responsibility and is committed to helping the development of the communities in which it operates. ANZ China has established long-term partnerships with several community centres and NGOs in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Hangzhou, with a focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) to enhance people's financial capabilities, regulate their own behaviour and responsibility, protect the natural environment, and educate and employ the younger generation and those with financial difficulties. ANZ China's Junior Tennis Elite Programme aims to support the development of youth tennis in China.
