In 1984, the founder of Shanghai Schumann Optics Co., Ltd. began to enter the glasses industry by adhering to the complex of a family of glasses and the diligent pursuit of the glassmaking business. At that time, the entire domestic glasses industry was still in a blank period, and it was not an industry.
In 1993, after nearly ten years of struggle, Jiangsu Shandi Optical Glasses Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Shanghai Schumann Optical Co., Ltd., was established.
In 1994, based on the company's superior product quality, but because it could not be distinguished from other products, the company's decision-makers decided to create the "Shanti" lens brand. It is the first Chinese glasses to be rated as a famous brand product by the Watch and Glasses Industry Association of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, and was rated as an inspection-free product by the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision in the same year. In 1998, Schumann entered China and cooperated with Jiangsu Shanti Optical Glasses Co., Ltd. to develop the Chinese market. In 1999, after a year of cooperation, Shanghai Schumann Optics Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai and Jiangsu Shanti Optics Co., Ltd. was its subsidiary, and at the end of the same year, it was the first company to launch 1.56 aspherical resin coated lenses in China.
In November 2002, Schumann cooperated with foreign capital and invested heavily in the construction of a factory covering an area of 30,000 square meters to establish Jiangsu Yuanda Optical Technology Co., Ltd

The company is located in Danyang City, the production base of the glasses industry in Jiangsu Province, with more than 230 employees and a total production base area of 40,000 square meters, of which the first phase of the project covers an area of 15,000 square meters and a total investment of more than 60 million yuan; The introduction of the world's most advanced glasses lens production equipment from Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries; It mainly produces and sells 1.553, 1.599, 1.667 and other hard-coated resin lenses, medium-fold color-changing resin lenses, progressive multifocal lenses and difficult lenses of various specifications. The second phase of the construction project is under active preparation.
