Shanxi Coking Coal Xishan Coal and Power (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xishan Coal and Power) Co., Ltd. is a core subsidiary of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, the largest coking coal production base in China, and the first batch of circular economy pilot units in China. Its predecessor was Xishan Mining Bureau, which was established in 1956 and is headquartered at the foot of Xishan Mountain, Taiyuan City. There are 209 subsidiaries, among which Shanxi Xishan Coal and Power Co., Ltd. was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2000, and the "Xishan Coal and Power" stock (000983) is a well-known blue chip stock in China. Xishan's coal power industry is distributed in more than 20 counties and districts in 9 prefectures and cities in 4 provinces (cities), involving coal, electric power, coke chemical industry, building materials, logistics and trade, catering services and other fields.

Xishan Coal Power mainly exploits the three major coalfields of Xishan, Hedong and Huoxi, with a total resource of 9.21 billion tons, including coking coal, fertile coal, 1/3 coking coal, gas coal, lean coal, lean coal, lean coal, etc., among which coking coal and fertile coal are the world's scarce resources and are known as the world's treasures. After 60 years of arduous development, Xishan Coal Power has 21 pairs of mines, with a production capacity of 42.06 million tons per year; 9 coal preparation plants with a total washing capacity of 57.9 million tons/year; 9 power plants with a total installed capacity of 3.27 million kilowatts; 3 coking plants with a total capacity of 6.4 million tons per year.
