On the afternoon of November 29, 2012, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) and Nippon Conveyor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lizhiyou") reached a basic agreement in Japan to integrate their forklift business on a global scale. Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly form a new entity, with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries owning 49.4% of the voting shares.
